American by birth but European in spirit, Sherry’s career began at the age of fifteen at Blue Cross Blue Shield where she worked every day after school in an American cooperation. Her ambitions continued throughout university where she turned her dorm room into a travel agency, funding her education with spring break holidays for students. She started her first corporate job at AT&T in San Francisco at the age of twenty-three. She then moved to Germany and extended her career with Mannesmann Arcor, Bertelsmann Media Group, and Symbian in the UK while completing her EMBA at J.L. Northwestern University - WHU. Sherry was known to “shake up industries” and bring new disruptive business models into the media and tech sectors such as Free SMS, Internet by call and platformisation on open OS for mobile devices.

She was recognised as the role model by the United Nations for Women and Girls in Engineering, Mathematics, Science and Technology in 2016 and gave the keynote speech at the General Assembly. She recently won an award by Leaders Without Borders Development Center at the House of Lords for Global Excellence, People Skills, Business Transformation and her Humanitarian work.

Having spent many years in Italy, working with design manufacturers and attending the prestigious Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne as an Entrepreneur in Residence, Sherry identified the need for consumers to buy what they see in hotels and created the company The Longest Stay, a shoppable hotel platform. A first mover in the industry and a disruptive exciting business model that is changing the way hotels and cruise lines monetise their rooms by turning them into digital showcases.
